I asked Westley200 to share his ultimate fantasy with me. Turns out it involves jazz, a bubble bath, and a mysterious woman in blue. Here it is:

The stage in the smoke-filled, dimly lit room was set higher than the small dance floor in front of it. I took the microphone.  I looked around the room, squinting slightly through the intense light that shone on the stage.

The song I’d chosen was a smooth jazzy song called “Feelin’ Good” by Michael Buble’. It’s the kind of song that makes you feel like Sinatra in the old days. You’re wearing your fedora and you could have your pick of any dame in the place.  The lyrics began and I sang…

Birds flying high… you know how I feel
Sun in the sky… you know how I feel
Breeze drifting on by… you know how I feel
It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life
For me…
And I’m feelin’…
Good

I looked up again to see people dancing on the floor in front of me.

Then there she was - the one girl on the dance floor by herself. She was the only girl in the bar who looked out of place, like a fallen angel in a house of sin. She had brown hair that flowed and rested down to the small of her back.

She wore a vivid blue dress that had no business being in a dive like this. Her eyes pierced through the smoke. She was looking directly at me as she moved to the music. She seemed almost unaware of the people around her, as if it were just we two in this room, the music, a gift from me to her.

She moved through the crowd, never stopping her rhythmic motions, her fingertips running seductively over her chest. Her eyes closed momentarily as if she wanted nothing else but my sound. My eyes fixed on her; I nearly forgot where I was.

The lyrics ended and I stepped down from the stage only to be face to face with this girl in the blue dress. Her eyes, I then noticed, were just as blue as her clothes. Her red lips parted slightly as if she were about to speak. Instead she moved effortlessly closer and pressed her red lips into mine.

At this moment, everything else was gone. The people, the bar, the drinks, and the smoke were all gone.  Nothing was left but two of us and the trailing sound of music in the distance. Her body felt cool next to mine, but her lips were almost burning.

Her tongue slid lightly over mine.

We embraced for what felt like an eternity. In this moment it never occurred to me that we were complete strangers. As we parted, our eyes were locked on each other for a moment. She smiled. Then she walked away.

I stood, confused but completely turned on, on the dance floor. I looked around as if to ask if anyone else witnessed what just happened. I walked back to the bar with a silly grin on my face. As I reached in my pocket for money to pay my tab I, found something that wasn’t there before.  I pulled it out of my pocket and found it to be a key to a room in the hotel next door to the bar.  Suite 918.

I entered the hotel minutes later. The elevator moved slowly towards my destination of the ninth floor. The doors slid open and I walked down the hall. I hesitated, then slid the key card into the slot. I pulled it out and heard the door click open, inviting me to enter. Slowly pushing the door open I stepped inside. The door closed gently behind me.

It was a beautifully appointed room, with a large king sized bed with silk sheets, a mini-bar in the corner, a large television, and lit candles adorning every windowsill. The room smelled of lavender. What I didn’t see was the girl. I poked my head into the bathroom. It was dimly lit.

There she was, lying in a large tub, submerged from her shoulders down in a steaming hot bubble bath, her eyes closed, a knowing smile resting on her face…

To be continued…
