May 23-26

Memorial Day weekend Ben and I headed up to Brian Head to play. Our original plans were to camp and hike in Bryce Canyon - but who would've thought it would be snowing? We stayed at Ben's grandpa's condo in Brian Head where we read, slept, cooked, ate and relaxed. We left the condo only twice the whole weekend; it was perfect. It was a very well needed relaxing getaway.



On the way to Brian Head we stopped in St. George for my friend Jill's surprise birthday party. Jill and I met years ago at Walmart where she asked me for directions. She had just moved to Vegas and seemed nice so I gave her my business card and told her to call me if she wanted a friend. She did and we've been friends ever since! Happy Birthday to an amazing girl!
