in her nose that is....













She got it done Tuesday after school and she paid for it herself with her birthday money..


I am OK with it..seeing Amanda already has 2 of them in her nose.

It doesn't look bad at all-in fact I think it is kind of cute...

I figure it could be worse...she could have gotten a huge ugly tattoo that she would have forever.


She tells me I needed one but I draw the line at the tattoo that I got a year ago..no holes in my face thanks very much.


I finally got my hands on my 2008 Christmas Ornament magazine.

I always get it at the same magazine store and put my name on the list to get my copy.

When the release date gets close I start calling them.
It is almost an obsession.....terrible I know but I don't get out much.

Gosh I hate waiting for it and every year it seems to be later and later-







I got it and was all set to take a look at it on the way to the mall but Wade being Wade and took it from me and wouldn't give it too me until we got home..I swear sometimes it is like I have 3 kids

I told him he was treading on some pretty thin ice and that no one should get in the way of me and my magazine...lol....

I did wait though and there are probably 7 or 8 that I would love to stitch- there were some however that I would not even consider...

I think that the Lizzie Kate one is such a sad little piece that has no effort into it.

I don't know why they even bothered..

I think the thing I like best is that they put in DMC conversions if they had used special threads and not a lot of embellishments that would end up costing more than the ornaments themselves...and there seems to be some great recipes in it as well.


The girls are both at the movies tonight and they are pretty much working all weekend so Wade and I get to hang out.

I think tomorrow that I might take off on the bus early tomorrow and go take some pictures(weather allowing)at least that is the idea anyway.

We have the usual grocery trip and maybe a trip to Canadian Tire to get a new element for the stove.

The top element in our oven kind of blew up on Wednesday so that has to be replaced..

Guess that means I am going to bake sometime soon- I am in the mood to make some cookies:)

What else has been going on....I have been stitching a little on the Christmas stocking for my best friend's 2 1/2 year old.

I really like the Shepherd's Bush patterns are so easy and they work up quite quickly..


Oh yes...I got through another week of work so that is good.

Our big boss is coming up next week so that should be interesting to say the least...maybe she is going to tell us that they are going to shut the place down and they are all going to give us packages-I guess I can dream:)

Oh and my Wade broke two toes this week.

He was home Monday,playing on the computer and his leg fell asleep.

He tried to get up and his toes curled up underneath his foot and all his weight landed on it...I guess it was quite the sound.... those toes are now a lovely shade of blue and purple....important safety tip...wait until your leg is not asleep before you try to walk on it.

I think thats it ....now I need a nap:)
